A transplant from the east coast, Rachel Lipsky graduated from Syracuse University, Syracuse, New York with a Bachelor's of Arts degree in Political Science and a minor in history (1996, summa cum laude). She received her Juris Doctor from California Western University (2005), where she graduated magna cum laude and was Associate Editor of the school's law review. While a student, Rachel was selected to participate in the prestigious United States Department of Justice Environment & Natural Resources Division Environmental Enforcement Clinical Internship Program in Washington, D.C.
