We founded Coast Law Group LLP in 2004 on the principle that business and environmental communities deserve attorneys who are aggressive and professional, while also committed to values of integrity and justice. Although we have received dozens of awards over the years, we gauge our success both by the service we provide our clients and the positive impact we have on our community.

History

In early 2003, a small group of sole practitioners, including Marco Gonzalez, decided it was time to merge their collective knowledge and create a law firm that could build on each of their respective reputations for providing sophisticated and reliable legal services to a broad range of clients. With Ross Campbell and Chris Polychron as associate attorneys, Coast Law Group LLP was launched in Encinitas, California, in March 2004.

A string of early successes, both inside and out of the courtroom, catapulted Coast Law Group LLP to the forefront of Southern California firms emphasizing environmental preservation and public interest matters. Profiled in newspapers and other national media shortly after opening its offices, Coast Law Group LLP received further national recognition in November 2004 for their role in a high-profile legal battle surrounding a contested write-in bid for the mayor of San Diego.

In 2006, the firm added partners David Peck and Seyamack Kouretchian (merging with Kouretchian Law Group), thereby significantly expanding its business and litigation departments and adding new competencies in intellectual property and personal injury. Subsequently, Coast Law Group LLP’s reputation as one of Southern California’s fastest growing and most dynamic and respected law firms was without question. Coast Law Group LLP now regularly represents the interests of clients from around the world on issues of great importance to the environmental, business, and technology communities.

In July of 2009, Coast Law Group LLP opened the doors on new offices strategically located on South Coast Highway 101 in downtown Encinitas. The short walk to the surf at Swami’s, along with the vibrant downtown surroundings complement the spirit and vision of the firm. With a cadre of talented attorneys and support staff, Coast Law Group LLP’s reputation for first-rate and personable legal representation continues to grow.

Besides having been recognized as the top attorneys in San Diego by the Los Angeles Times and the New York Times, Coast Law Group LLP has also been recognized by Outside Magazine as the 8th best place in the USA to work. Several Coast Law Group LLP attorneys have also been regularly selected for inclusion in the Super Lawyers by their peers in the categories of corporate law, intellectual property, and litigation.

Today

In the personal injury space, Coast Law Group LLP is now recognized among the top firms helping victims with catastrophic injuries resulting from cycling, automobile, and related accidents.

As part of Coast Law Group LLP’s ongoing mission to utilize its legal expertise to benefit the local community, multiple Coast Law Group LLP attorneys regularly contribute pro bono hours toward the protection of the environment and social justice concerns.
